In many of the sci-fi films I grew up on, films such as Aliens, Robocop and Terminator have produced truly iconic weapons that help add the allure of the films they appear in. Neill Blomkamp's District 9 just so happens to be one of those films. Fortunately for us, Weta Workshop has announced that they will be releasing 2 screen-accurate prop replicas of the alien rifles featured in the hit sci-fi film, District 9. These rifles have a very low production size of only 200 being made of each by Weta Workshop. Each weapon comes with a wall mount for display and will cost a total of around $500 USD. |
