The Life-Size T-700 Bust From Terminator Salvation
December 3 2009 | film | terminator | pop | toys
Sideshow Collectibles presents yet another life-size replica from the film Terminator Salvation; the T-700 model Terminator. The design originally planned for the T-700 was fleshed out more on paper in pre-production instead of what we actually wound up seeing on screen which looked very similar to the T-800 model from the original films, just seen with a darker, grittier paint application.

Within the Terminator universe, the T-700 is the missing link between the big-brute T-600 model and the chrome-polished T-800 made famous by Arnie in the original films. Taken from the molds used by Stan Winston Studios (now Legacy Effects), this 1:1 replica stands 13" tall and weighs in at 14 lbs. The bust will feature light-up eyes and " a textured endoskeleton finish."
Sideshow Collectibles has already produced the T-600 life-size bust, due to ship next year, as well as the T-800 bust which offers both a "clean" and "battle-damaged" version.
