Trailer Released for Star Wars: Uncut Fan Film

Casey Pugh, the mastermind behind Star Wars: Uncut, has gone and spearheaded one of the greatest Star Wars tributes I've seen, using fan-submitted videos to help re-tell the story of Star Wars: A New Hope. Casey first broke up Episode IV into 473 15-second segments. These 15-second scene sections were then organized and listed online for users to choose which scene they wanted to work with. Now here's the fun part, the fan who is assigned a 15 second segment can recreate the scene in any medium they choose, so long as they submit a completed re-creation of the scene. |
|
These mediums can include Flash animation, hand drawn work, stop-motion, CGI, claymation and others. Many Jedi are currently at work.

Once all these segments are completed and submitted, Casey will begin the process of re-attatching the clips and in the end will have put together a truly creative fan-fim. If you check out the site for Star Wars: Uncut, you can see all the videos that have been submitted so far and check up on the overall status of the film as it's compiled. The first official trailer for the project has been released and can be seen below. |
